Jerry Davis, M.D.

Dr. Davis, the President & CEO of Prompt Med, P.A., is a native of Reidsville, NC. He graduated from Wake Forest University and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Post-graduate training was done at the University of Louisville. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Medical Society and the Greater Greensboro Society of Medicine. He is active in our community, serving on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Dr. Davis and his wife Catherine have resided in Greensboro since 1994. His hobbies include golfing and boating. |

Loretta VanHaasteren, M.D.
Internal Medicine |

Dr. Loretta VanHaasteren is from Miami. She is a graduate of Duke University and attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine and trained at Boston City Hospital. She did her internship and residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Internal Medicine and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. After completing her training, she served two years in the US Public Health Service in South Florida. She has practiced internal medicine, intensive care and emergency medicine in Miami and North Carolina. Dr. Van has four children, one of which graduated from UNC/Chapel Hill. She enjoys horseback riding and hiking in the mountains of western North Carolina and has a home on Beech Mountain where she is active in development and conservation of mountain land. |

Bruce Rogers, M.D. |

Dr. Rogers was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Drexel University (B.S.) in 1970, he served with the 173d Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. After completing active service with the US Army, he graduated from Temple University (M.A.) and the Medical College of Pennsylvania (M.D.). He completed a family practice residency at the Medical Center of Beaver County in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and has been board certified twice by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Rogers was a member of the Army and Army Reserve until 2000, and served in Korea, Germany, and Operation Desert Storm. After servicing with the Indian Health Service in Oklahoma, Dr. Rogers moved his family to North Carolina in 1988 to serve with the U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Rogers has three sons and a daughter. One son has graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, while his daughter attends Wake Technical College, and another son is attending UNC-Wilmington.Dr. Rogers enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and photography, and in 2007 hiked into the Grand Canyon from the North Rim with his youngest son. |

Henry Althisar, PA-C |

Mr. Althisar is a graduate of Augusta State College with a B.S. in education and a minor in general studies. He also attended St. Louis University’s Allied Health Program where he attained his training as a Physician Assistant. His experience as a practicing P.A. consists of Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Family Medicine with Internal Medicine and Pediatric experience, and most recently urgent care experience.
Mr. Althisar is the father of three lovely daughters who reside in Durham. The entire family enjoys basketball, softball, music, and entertainment. |
