Jerry Davis, M.D.
President & CEO,
Prompt Med, P.A.
Dr. Davis, the President & CEO of Prompt Med, P.A., is a native of Reidsville, NC. He graduated from Wake Forest University and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Post-graduate training was done at the University of Louisville. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Medical Society and the Greater Greensboro Society of Medicine. He is active in our community, serving on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Dr. Davis and his wife Catherine have resided in Greensboro since 1994. His hobbies include golfing and boating.
   

Steven Myers, M.D.
Dr. Myers was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Following graduation from high school, he joined the United States Air Force from1962-1966. While married and raising two children, he graduated from undergraduate then medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1975. Dr Myers and his family moved to Western Massachusetts, following his residency in Johnstown, PA. He operated a solo Family Practice, in which he remained board certified from 1978- 2001 in Lenox, Massachusetts. He moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2001 to be close to his family, now consisting of his daughter, Sandy, her husband Rick and three grandchildren who are now 9 (Alex), 5 (Addison) and 4 month (Atley). Dr Myers and his wife “Val” have been married for 41 years. Their son Karl continues to live in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
   

Michael W. Klinkner, M.D., FAAFP
Dr. Klinkner is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and obtained both his B.S. and M.D. degrees there. After medical school, he took a three year residency in Family Medicine associated with Michigan State University, and a fellowship in Medical Research and Education He practiced in his home town for several years, but found the South calling him away from the Michigan winters. He and his young family moved to Cary in 1991.On moving South, he started working in Emergency Medicine, which he very much enjoyed. But after ten years he found this work was taking a toll on his health. Upon being offered a position with a new Urgent Care Center, he jumped at the chance to be done with swing shifts and night work. He has been enjoying his work very much, and is looking forward to practicing with Prompt Med. Dr. Klinkner has four grown children. He was a Medical Technical Director for the motion picture “Patch Adams”. He is active in local charities, and travels to Haiti every year to hold medical clinics. He also spent two weeks in Uganda on mission this past fall.
